The rules for using Want 2 Watch, in plain English.
Last updated 8 October 2026
Be decent to other people. Anyone signed in can find you by name and see your profile picture, so nothing offensive, hateful, sexual, violent or harassing in your username, display name or picture, and no abusing other users. We have zero tolerance for it: we review every report within 24 hours and remove content or whole accounts that break these rules.
“Want 2 Watch”, “we” and “us” mean the independent developer of Want 2 Watch, based in the United States. You can reach us at contact@want2.watch.
By creating an account or using Want 2 Watch, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement is the licence for the app itself. These terms cover your account and how you use the service. They are between you and us, not Apple.
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to this kind of data use (16 in some European countries). You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself. One person per account.
Other people can see your username, display name and profile picture. Your friends can also see the titles you both want to watch. You must not:
You can report or block anyone from the Friends tab, from search results or friend requests, and from a friend's page.
A block hides the two of you from each other in search, ends any friendship between you and stops further requests. The other person is not told. You can unblock someone from the Friends tab.
A report reaches us straight away, and we review every report within 24 hours. The person you report is not told who reported them. When something breaks these terms, we remove it. That can mean removing a picture, changing a name, or deleting the account. For serious or repeated cases, we do not warn first.
Want 2 Watch is a free download. Some or all of it may need a one-time in-app purchase (“the unlock”), which includes a pass for one friend. Apple handles the payment, and refunds go through Apple under its terms. The friend's pass can be used once. If we suspend or remove your account for breaking these terms, you lose access to the unlock, and we may refuse to move it to another account.
Titles, posters, descriptions and cast come from The Movie Database (TMDB). Streaming availability comes from JustWatch, through TMDB. Availability changes often, so we cannot promise that a title is on a service when the app says so. Trailers play on YouTube under YouTube's own terms.
We work to keep Want 2 Watch running and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. We may change features, or stop the service. If we ever shut it down, we will try to tell you in the app first. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using the app or not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law in your country does not let us limit.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, which removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and describe the change on this page. If you keep using Want 2 Watch after that, you are agreeing to the new version.
Questions, or something to report outside the app: contact@want2.watch, or the contact form.
